In the last two years I have purchased as many coffee mugs from this store. Neither of which lasted longer than one cycle in a kitchen sink vs. a sponge! I fully understand this is a local grocery spot and not known for their keepsakes, however, it still pissed me off enough to write this review. I will be mailing it back, because I am that petty.
Great little store, with all the basics plus some great artisanal/local goods especially in the dairy section. We got everything we needed here. Loved the charm of a small, local store and the cashiers talking with locals. Parking is a little hard to come by and I imagine this is a challenge in the summer, but in off season we had no issues.
They had just what we needed and a great old time market look and feel.
Not only does the Wellfleet Marketplace have a great selection of groceries, it has wonderful souvenirs of this unique town. For me, the best part of the experience was Finding unique hors d'oeuvres and items like that for cocktail hour as well as good meat and vegetables for dinner.
Great selection, but be preparerd to pay top dollar for everything and wait on a long line.
