This beach has a huge parking lot, making sure that it will never fill up. It also has restrooms, feet washing areas, and lifeguard towers. A perfect place to surf and bodyboard. For this, I give the beach a 5/5.
Beautiful beach....while we were there we saw a bunch of seals and they would follow you up and down the beach.
Great dog-friendly beach. Towering sand dunes, good waves, tons of room if you walk beyond the life-guard protected beach areas. Surf and swim in groups, lowers the chance of a shark biting you. Don't go here for sunsets, it sets over the dunes which throw a large shadow starting in the late afternoon. Parking lot doesn't fill, so its a good National Seashore beach to hit if you get shut out of Nauset Light.
Beautiful, clean beach and peaceful (for the most part if you walk far enough on those super crowded summer days...) Changing & restrooms available, and also an open shower area for a quick rinse off. Lifeguards on duty during designated times.
Remember to stay clear of the seals when swimming (or if you happen to encounter one napping on the shore...) they're not as friendly as you think & you never know when they'll attract a Great White or 2
