It is relatively speaking a miracle that the seashore has all been preserved in an area as densely populated as the rest of our Eastern United States. Bring your walking shoes... Come in off-season... Marvel at sand dunes and title areas... Walk at low tide and see crabs and see birds

- Sharks, man

- Shallow water until a large drop off about twenty feet off the shore

One of the most beautiful places on this continent. My family went surfing and had a blast. Wetsuits are recommended for early in summer. Incredible facilities including lifeguards, showers, parking, and a new boardwalk/staircase. Just download the Shark Alert app provided by the Atlantic White Shark Conservancy and keep your eyes peeled for large dark shapes in the water

Cons:

- Massive dunes

- Empty beaches

Tip: If you just keep walking down the beach a bit, you'll find yourself completely away from people and by yourself on the coarse sand with a practically private beach.

Pros:

Between one of the best beaches and plenty of other activities around, this is my favorite beach on the Cape.

- Low parking fee (Free in some zones)

- Cedar Swamp

- Cold water and air temp

- Cool towers

We like swimming on the sea side rather than the bay side of Cape Cod. The kids wish the waves were bigger and we wish the water was warmer, but you can't control Mother Nature, can you?

Beautiful and breath taking and pretty. It was nice that there wasn't a single person there. I guess it was in the 30s when I went and very cold wind, I still enjoyed it

- Coarse sand

The radio towers and history is pretty nifty and the dunes are wicked cool. The cedar swamp is a must see.

- Ample parking

Now I know the National Seashore is mainly for tourists, is colder than the bay, has more sharks, is more difficult to walk to, and has less lifeguards, but it's nearly abandoned for swimming and recreation. The views are great and the swimming is decent for the hardier people.
